No. 8 North Carolina State University women’s tennis team completed the doubleheader by beating Campbell and North Carolina Central, Saturday at J.W. Ishenhour Tennis Center. NC State will remain in Raleigh to open the ITA Kickoff Weekend against Alabama, Saturday at the Isenhour Tennis Center.
The Wolfpack clinched the doubles point with victories on courts 2 and 3. Maddy Zampardo and Amelia Rajecki outlasted Campbell’s Mariana Ossa and Lily Chitambar 6-2 on court 2, before Gabriella Broadfoot and Abigail Rencheli earned a 6-1 game victory on Tamsin Hart and Veronika Prospalova.

After clinching the doubles point, the Wolfpack played the match on court 1 with Anna Zyryanova and Sophie Abrams, who won 6-3 over Campbell’s Mialy Ranaivo and Eeva Ristola.
In singles, No. 3 Amelia Rajecki won 6-1, 6-3, putting NC State ahead 2-0. Abigail Rencheli then claimed a 6-1, 6-1 victory, before Anna Zyryanova secured the Wolfpack’s victory with a 6-2, 7-5 win.
Maddy Zampardo earned a straight-sets victory with a 6-4, 7-6 (7-4) triumph over Campbell’s Lily Chitambar. Sophie Abrams then extended the Pack’s lead to 6-0 with a 6-3, 6-0 win on court five.
In the final match of the first match, Kristina Paskauskas dropped only one game in a dominant 6-0, 6-1 victory.

In the second matchup, Gabriella Broadfoot and Abigail Rencheli defeated NC Central’s Jade Houston and Lafi Joao, before Kristina Paskauskas and Gina Dittmann recorded a win on court 3.
Gina Dittmann earned the Wolfpack’s first singles point in a 6-1, 6-1 victory. Sophie Abrams then extended NC State’s lead to 3-0 with a 6-4, 6-1 victory. No.3 Amelia Rajecki clinched the match for the Wolfpack with a 6-3, 6-2 triumph on the first court.
Anna Zyryanova recorded a 6-4, 6-2 victory on court two before the Pack closed out the final two games of the day in dominant fashion. Kristina Paskauskas dropped just two games in a 6-0, 6-2 win over Patricia Palencia before Gabriella Broadfoot earned her first career singles win with a 6-0, 6-0 win on court six.
