Shiba Inu Shows Shibarium Roadmap, Exposes Counterfeit Sites

  • Next steps in the Shibarium mainnet phased launch revealed.
  • Shibarium Tech moderators are running a scam alert page.
  • SHIB continues trading in consolidation with neutral signals.

The popular dog-themed crypto Shiba Inu (SHIB) is making moves before Shibarium’s L1 mainnet launch. The new blockchain in development is set to solve a couple of issues for the two-year-old memecoin.

Firstly, the Layer-1 scaling solution for SHIB would significantly reduce the transaction fees and processing time. While the scaling solution is in test mode, the average block time of five seconds suggests that transactions would be reasonably faster.

Secondly, Shibarium could provide more utility for the canine token, as it’s currently based on an ERC-20 protocol. Shiba Inu’s metaverse, the blockchain version of the Shiba Eternity game, community dApps built on top of Shibarium, and the highly-anticipated Shiba Inu auto-burning mechanism should run on Shibarium’s L1.

Fortunately, Lucie SHIB, a SHIB Token marketing team member, shared the estimated date for Shibarium’s mainnet launch to be Q3 of 2022. However, the famed crypto influencer warned the SHIB Army about delays if the testing phase pointed to any major bugs.

Susbarium Saves the Day

In other related news, the Shiba Inu community now has a dedicated page for Shibarium-related phishing scams. While the developers are hammering away, cybercriminals are constantly imitating the new Shibarium Tech site to drain Ethereum crypto wallets.

Luckily, the Shibarium Watchdogs are always keeping an eye out for bad actors online. Susbarium indicates not only counterfeit websites but also pump-and-dump schemes that exploit Shiba Inu’s name and brand for their own projects, deluding crypto investors into thinking it’s a Shiba Ecosystem token.

Addressing the issue, the Shiba Watchdogs of Susbarium exposed a coin that posed as $TREAT, the fourth and yet unreleased coin from SHIB Token. Other recent discoveries included fake airdrops on YouTube, identity theft, and rugpull shills.

On the Flipside

  • Due to many copycat coins, Shiba Inu devs reserve the right to change $TREAT to another name before launch.

Why This Matters

Shiba Inu is among the most watched cryptocurrencies of the last couple of years.
