Things I Loved in February 2023

February basically flew by thanks to a rigorous work schedule and being sick for two weeks. BUT! This month’s roundup of Things I Tried and Loved happens to be one of my favorites yet. Each one of these products exceeded my expectations and made for a great addition to my closet, makeup kit, and life!

These are the seven things I loved most in February…

1. Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick

$10

This is a great moisturizing lipstick in a classic shade of pink. (In my experience, a really moisturizing lipstick can be hard to find!) And it’s a great price.

2. Gap Modern Henley T-Shirt

$40 $31

I love the cut of this t-shirt! The cotton fabric is thick and structured and isn’t see-through. This is a new staple piece in my wardrobe.

3. Bliss Montage by Ling Ma

$22

This book was wild. As someone who has really cinematic dreams, I found myself totally immersed in each story. Through the wackiness, you become both disoriented and profoundly moved, which is hard to do well. I loved reading it.

4. Beauty of Joseon Sunscreen SPF 50

$19

This sunscreen is an absolute dream. The texture is so soft and it sinks into your skin immediately, leaving no trace of greasiness or white residue. It’s also moisturizing enough to be used as a primer before makeup.

5. Mille Saffron Dress (gifted)

$238

I recently picked out a couple of things from Mille that rounded out some wardrobe needs I have for spring and summer. I absolutely love this dress. It will work just as well over a swimsuit (hello spring break!) as it will heading out to lunch.

6. Gemsme Cubic Zirconia Tennis Necklace

$23

This is a little outside my general vibe but I bought this necklace to try adding a bit of femininity to my tomboy outfits. It’s a great price for those of us who want to play dress up as adults but don’t yet want to commit to an investment piece in this style!

7. H&M Jeans With Slit Hem

$30

These jeans are so flattering. I love the shape and that they have all the slimming qualities of skinny jeans but with a silhouette that doesn’t scream 2013.
