Trump Challenges Meghan Markle To A Debate – ‘Let’s Set It Up’

The former President Donald Trump is speaking out this week to say that he would “love to debate” Meghan Markle, the woke wife of Prince Harry.

Trump Challenges Markle To Debate

Daily Mail reported that though Trump has announced that he is skipping the second Republican presidential debate later this month, he would jump at the chance to debate Markle, a former Hollywood actress who is known to have liberal views.

“Let’s set it up. Let’s go do something. I’d love to debate her. I would love it,” Trump told radio host Hugh Hewitt on Wednesday morning.

“I didn’t like the way she dealt with the Queen. I became very friendly with the Queen. She was an incredible woman,” Trump explained. “I think it’s not a good situation going on with the two of them, but I didn’t know that they don’t like me. Somebody mentioned it might be possible. They wouldn’t be the only ones.”

Friday will mark the one year anniversary of when Queen Elizabeth passed away at the age of 96. Trump had met her in June of 2019 during a visit to the United Kingdom, and in his latest interview, he compared her cognitive abilities to those of the current President Joe Biden.

“At 95, she was so sharp,” Trump explained. “She was 100%. When you watch Biden, you say this is a different plane.”

Markle Bashes Trump

Though Markle stayed quiet about politics during her time as an official member of the British royal family, she was openly critical of Trump prior to her marriage to Harry, and she endorsed Hillary Clinton publicly during the 2016 presidential election.

“Yes, of course, Trump is divisive, think about female voters alone, right?” Markle said in a 2016 interview with talk show host Larry Wilmore. “I think it was in 2012 the Republican Party lost the female vote by 12 points; that is a huge number and with as misogynistic as Trump is, and so vocal about it, that is a huge chunk of it.”

“You’re not just voting for a woman if it’s Hillary because she’s a woman, but certainly because Trump has made it easy to see that you don’t really want that kind of world that he’s painting,” she added.

Trump’s Previous Markle Comments

Trump previously slammed Markle in an interview back in May.

“I think she [Meghan] has been very disrespectful to the Queen. How can you be so disrespectful to the Queen?” Trump told GB News. “She [the Queen] was incredible, for decades and decades she never made a mistake. I cannot think of a mistake she made, she was never controversial.”

“You cannot be disrespectful to her and I think Meghan was very disrespectful to her, very disrespectful,” he continued, going on to say that he would agree that the Queen was “the most popular human being in the world” during her lifetime.

The Queen sadly was forced to spend her final years dealing with the antics of Markle and Harry, who have been bashing the royal family seemingly every chance they get in the years since they stepped down as senior royals back in 2020.

Of course, it’s extremely unlikely that Markle will take up Trump on his debate challenge, given the fact that even she must know deep down that the former president would destroy her in that battle. Even so, it’s fun to imagine how that debate would actually go, as it would be epic to watch Trump trounce a woke liberal like Markle in front of the entire world!
