Paula Badosa is out of the court from the 2023 edition of the Wimbledon tournament. The Spanish tennis player has in fact withdrawn from the Canada Open and the US Open due to a spinal injury that has been haunting her for months now.

Paula Badosa’s fans are confident in a recovery as quick as possible to see her back on the pitch but, in the meantime, the 25-year-old takes advantage of the opportunity to share unforgettable moments with her boyfriend, Stefanos Tsitsipas.

Paula Badosa: between injury and private life

On social media, Paula Badosa responded to some of the questions posed by her followers, by saying how she handles being away from the court due to injuries, talking also about her private life.

She said: “Well, with injuries this long there are always cracks, but I’m managing the situation the best I can.”

Regarding her relationship with the Greek tennis player and her culture she states: “I love Greek culture, it shares so many similarities with Spanish culture.

I love everything, I can’t wait to learn more about this culture.” It therefore seems that Tsitsipas is a fundamental ingredient in Paula Badosa’s life currently, and together with him another essential ingredient for the tennis player’s well-being recipe would be positivity.

In fact, the world number 54 also spoke about her mantra for happiness: “I always try to see the positive side of things. There have been moments in my life that haven’t been like that, and there are days that are worse than others, but I know that this makes me stronger and gives me the experience to learn to handle it better each time.

I think we have to go through all kinds of experiences in life to then know what we want, what we like and what we don’t. I’m in a moment where I try to focus on the good things I have, and above all we all live in the moment, because today we won’t live it anymore, so let’s enjoy it.” Tsitsipas will return to the court at the ATP Masters 1000 in Shanghai after the bad defeat suffered on his debut at the ATP 500 tournament in Beijing against Nicolas Jarry.
