The third round of the 2023 Wells Fargo Championship, staged in Charlotte, North Carolina, has ended. Wyndham Clark remains in command, but this time alone, who does not give discounts by placing the best round of the entire tournament at -8 (63 hits) due to a bogey free round (eight birdies).
For the twenty-nine year old from Denver there is the chance of the first victory of his career on the PGA Tour.

Second position for Xander Schauffele, the only one to keep up with his -7 which brings him to -14 and with a three stroke advantage over the Australian Adam Scott, at -11 together with the English Tyrrell Hatton who, despite his -3 of the moving day, he must give up the leadership.
Fifth at -10 are Harris English, the English Tommy Fleetwood and the South Korean Sungjae Im, while Brendon Todd, thanks to his -6, climbs 21 positions and is eighth at -9. -8 and ninth place for Gary Woodland, Max Homa, Michael Kim, Justin Thomas, Nate Lashley and the Canadians Adam Svensson and Corey Conners.
As for Francesco Molinari, a rather regular round equal to par and 45th place with a score of -2, recovered thanks to the birdie on the 18th hole. For him a drop of seven positions, but also a good sign given that he is in second tournament in a row he’s playing in over the weekend.
