Asked about her favorite food, former US Open winner Emma Raducanu revealed that she especially enjoys a Chinese dish made by her mom.”I’d struggle to pick one, but there’s sundubu-jjigae, my mum’s homemade spring rolls and dumplings,” Emma Raducanu said during an interview with HSBC Sport.”I’d proudly call myself a foodie.

Food is a big passion for me because I have so many memories, actually, of when I was a young child and my mum and grandma and aunt would cook homemade dumplings for me,” the Briton also said.

How does Emma Raducanu pick restaurants when traveling

During the interview, Emma also explained how she picks restaurants when traveling on the tour.”I obviously get to experience many different cuisines, which I love exploring, I’ll try anything and I’m pretty lucky to be able to do that.

When I travel, it’s become a running joke that when I’m with my team and on the treatment table after a long day of training or a match I’m on Google Maps, like looking at the restaurants nearby and I check out the ratings, reviews like I literally go full in analysis, and then I pick the restaurant,” said Raducanu.”Often, I feel I get compliments with like the selection of where we went.

I take pride in that. My skills in the kitchen are better at eating than cooking, but I wish I had more time to develop that skill.”

Raducanu also expressed her love for Asian dishes in the past.”Korean food is sure my favorite.

Because my mum grew up in China, it’s got a lot of Korean food as it’s quite close to here. So yeah, looking forward to seeing it for myself.”
