Woke Soccer Star Megan Rapinoe Accuses Dave Chappelle Of Inciting ‘Violence’ Against Trans People

Megan Rapinoe, who has long seen herself as the woke Colin Kaepernick of the world of women’s soccer, is launching an attack on the comedian Dave Chappelle, accusing him of causing “violence” against transgender people with his jokes about them.

Rapinoe Calls Out Chappelle

“I don’t want to mince words about it,” Rapinoe told TIME Magazine. “Dave Chappelle making jokes about trans people directly leads to violence, whether it’s verbal or otherwise, against trans people. When Martina or Sage or whoever are talking about this, people aren’t hearing it just in the context of elite sports. They’re saying, ‘The rest of my life, this is how I’m going to treat trans people.’”

Rapinoe was also referring to the legendary tennis star Martina Navratilova and the ESPN host Sage Steele, both of whom have been outspoken about being opposed to transgender women competing against biological women in sports.

“It’s particularly frustrating when women’s sports is weaponized,” Rapinoe continued. “Oh, now we care about fairness? Now we care about women’s sports? That’s total bullsh—t. And show me all the trans people who are nefariously taking advantage of being trans in sports. It’s just not happening.”

Rapinoe On Transgender Athletes

In this same interview, Rapinoe was asked if she would welcome a transgender athlete onto her soccer team, and she didn’t hesitate with her response.

“Absolutely,” she replied. “‘You’re taking a ‘real’ woman’s place,’ that’s the part of the argument that’s still extremely transphobic. I see trans women as real women. What you’re saying automatically in the argument—you’re sort of telling on yourself already—is you don’t believe these people are women. Therefore, they’re taking the other spot. I don’t feel that way.”

Navratilova had the perfect response to this, only needing one word to fire back at Rapinoe’s woke nonsense.

Rapinoe’s Anthem-Kneeling Antics

Rapinoe became a household name for all the wrong reasons back in 2016, when she began following Kaepernick in taking a knee during the national anthem before her games.

“It was very intentional,” she said at the time, according to Bleacher Report. “It was a little nod to Kaepernick and everything that he’s standing for right now. I think it’s actually pretty disgusting the way he was treated and the way that a lot of the media has covered it and made it about something that it absolutely isn’t. We need to have a more thoughtful, two-sided conversation about racial issues in this country.”

“Being a gay American, I know what it means to look at the flag and not have it protect all of your liberties,” she continued. “It was something small that I could do and something that I plan to keep doing in the future and hopefully spark some meaningful conversation around it. It’s important to have white people stand in support of people of color on this. We don’t need to be the leading voice, of course, but standing in support of them is something that’s really powerful.”

Rapinoe Retiring

Thankfully, Rapinoe’s latest ridiculously woke comments come after she announced that she will be retiring from soccer at the end of this season.

“This is going to be my last season, my last World Cup and my last NWSL season,” she said last week during a press conference ahead of the U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team’s match against Wales. “Obviously there will be more to come further down the road after hopefully we get done what we want to get done.”

“I could have just never imagined where this beautiful game would’ve taken me,” she added. “I feel so honored to be able to have represented this country and this federation for so many years. It’s truly been the greatest thing that I’ve ever done.”

It’s sad that Rapinoe has been so indoctrinated with woke ideologies that she can’t even see that women’s sports are under attack right now. We applaud Chappelle, Navratilova, and Steele for continuing to have the guts to defend biological women by calling out the transgender movement.
