The Red Devils are 16 games unbeaten at home in all competitions and they will be keen to keep that streak going on Sunday.

Top scorer Marcus Rashford is also loving life at Old Trafford, scoring in each of his last six home Premier League games with his most recent coming against Leeds.

Only legends Wayne Rooney and Cristiano Ronaldo have scored more consecutively for the club.

However, the Foxes will be out to put an end to this run and continue their rise up the table after finding some form in recent weeks.

Brendan Rodgers’ side have scored eight goals in their last two games, beating Aston Villa 4-2 and Tottenham 4-1 to see them move up to 13th.

Manchester United vs Leicester: Team news

United will remain without Casemiro who serves the final game of his suspension this weekend following his red card against Crystal Palace.

Therefore new signing Marcel Sabitzer is likely to partner Fred once again in midfield with Christian Eriksen and Scott McTominay both out injured.

Diogo Dalot will be competing with Aaron Wan-Bissaka for the right-back spot while Lisandro Martinez and Raphael Varane are likely to return to the line-up.

As for Leicester, Youri Tielemans was absent from the squad against Tottenham with James Maddison captaining the Foxes.

If he is absent again at the weekend, Nampalys Mendy and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall will play in midfield once again.

New signings Harry Souttar, Victor Kristiansen and Tete will all play a part after making a good start to life in the East Midlands.

Manchester United vs Leicester: What has been said?

Leicester boss Rodgers revealed his team are confident heading to Old Trafford but he has praised the quality of Man United’s squad.

“I look at Man United and see the introduction of new players, Eriksen, Martinez and Casemiro,” Rodgers said.

“He is a world-class player. He’s calm, he has quality. Thankfully for us, he’s suspended. He’s given them a stabilising effect.

“Erik and his team, they’ve given them good organisation. Then they have a collective group.”

He continued: “We’re only looking at the next game. We’ve had fantastic results and performance wise it’s been good. It’s another challenge.

“We know we can play without fear. The confidence is in the team. We’re the second-highest scorers away from home, so we know we can score goals.”
