The Legends Tour season is coming to an end with a grand finale: the twelfth edition of the MCB Tour Championship, which will also see our Emanuele Canonica take to the field. The location chosen for the event is the evocative route of the Constance Belle Mare Plage, where the title of champion of the European over 50 circuit will be awarded.

The eyes of the enthusiasts will be focused on the first 9 in the order of merit, among which stand out names from the likes of Peter Baker (n.1), Adilson Da Silva (n.2) and James Kingston (n.3), but also potential outsiders such as Jeev Milkha Singh, Michael Campbell and Welsh champion Stephen Dodd.

There will be no shortage of surprises, with athletes of the caliber of Niclas Fasth and last year’s winner Thomas Bjørn ready to give their all to defend their title. In short, a concentration of sporting adrenaline in the heart of Mauritius, which will give us unparalleled emotions.

Legends Tour, results

Emanuele Canonica arrives in his homeland after having achieved nineteenth position in Vietnam. Our champion wants to end the season on a high, after achieving a wonderful sixth place at the European Senior Masters in Spain, and two exceptional top ten rankings during the year (fifth place at The Legends Tour Trophy and seventh place at the Irish Legends).

In short, a season worth remembering for our protagonist. The Rules of Golf are a set of standard rules and procedures by which the sport of golf should be played. They are jointly written and administered by the Royal & Ancient Golf Club of St.

Andrews, the governing body of golf throughout the world, outside of the United States and Mexico, which are the responsibility of the United States Golf Association. An expert commission made up of members of the R&A and USGA oversees and refines the rules every four years.

The latest revision is effective January 1, 2016. Changes to the rules of golf generally fall into two main categories: those that improve understanding and those that in certain cases reduce penalties to ensure balance. The rule book, entitled “Rules of Golf”, is published on a regular basis and also includes rules governing amateur status.

In Italy it is up to Federgolf to supervise the competitions by enforcing the rules issued by the R & A, checking that these rules are observed by the Clubs, Associations and their members and managing the resulting sporting justice, protecting their interests abroad.
